Attorney Mike Kazoun

Mike Kazoun

Attorney

Mike Kazoun is a Chicago personal injury attorney who represents individuals going through the toughest period of their life. Prior to founding Wolfs Law Firm, Mr. Kazoun worked at a nationally renowned criminal defense law firm, where he gained practical experience in litigation.

Unlike many young criminal lawyers who start their careers handling less-consequential matters, Mr. Kazoun immediately began working on serious felony cases. Early in his career, Mr. Kazoun handled complex cases involving murder, human trafficking, narcotic drug distribution, identity theft, wire fraud, medical fraud, and political corruption. During that time, he was part of the defense team in the nationally publicized federal corruption prosecution United States v. McClain et al., commonly known as the “ComEd Four” case, which involved allegations of bribery connected to former Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan. He also was part of the defense team in a federal prosecution of an airline flight attendant accused of transporting and laundering millions of dollars for a Mexico drug trafficking organization.

Through that work, Mr. Kazoun was involved in representing a wide range of clients, including gang members, business executives, recording artists, and politicians. Mr. Kazoun engaged in extensive motion practice, trial advocacy, and deal negotiation in both state and federal courts.

Mr. Kazoun used his criminal defense expertise and brought that tough-nosed courtroom training to represent people who have been hurt. The same skills — early investigation, written motions, and preparing every file as if a jury will hear it — are how he now advocates for injured clients, including in negotiations with the other side’s insurance company.

Mr. Kazoun now maintains his own injury practice in Chicago. His practice focuses on serious injuries including traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, nerve damage, complex fractures, and wrongful death. He counsels and represents his clients at every stage of the process. Mr. Kazoun aggressively prepares each case with the expectation that it may ultimately be decided before a jury.

Mr. Kazoun devotes his practice exclusively to personal injury and intentionally maintains a limited caseload to ensure each client receives the attention and preparation their case deserves.
