Areas of practice

Injury cases we handle.

The firm concentrates on personal injury. Consultations are free, and there is no attorney fee unless we win.

Car accidents

Drivers, passengers, and pedestrians hurt in collisions. We present the claim to the responsible driver’s insurance and collect the records needed to show the injury.

Truck accidents

Crashes involving semis and other commercial trucks, where the injuries and the insurance coverage are often more complicated.

Motorcycle accidents

Riders injured by a driver who failed to see them or failed to yield. The claim is usually against that driver’s insurance.

Uber and Lyft accidents

Injuries to passengers, drivers, and others in rideshare crashes. Which policy answers can depend on whether the app was on.

Medical malpractice

Cases involving medical care that caused harm. These claims have special rules and deadlines in Illinois, and they are usually directed at the provider’s insurance.

Slip and fall

Falls on unsafe property. The claim is commonly made against the property owner’s insurance, not against an employee personally.

Dog bites

Bite and attack injuries. Illinois has specific rules for dog-injury claims, and homeowner’s or renter’s insurance is often the coverage at issue.

Workplace accidents

Serious injuries connected to work. Some of these cases involve more than a workers’ compensation claim, including a claim against another company’s insurance.

Catastrophic injury and wrongful death

Traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, nerve damage, complex fractures, and claims for a family after a death.

You are usually going after their insurance.

A lawsuit sometimes has to name the at-fault person. That does not mean the firm is trying to take that person’s savings. In a standard injury claim, the recovery being sought is the other side’s insurance coverage. If a case does not fit that pattern, we will say so before you decide anything.

Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Carbondale and southern Illinois. The firm will consider a case anywhere in Illinois. Meetings are by appointment only.
